Youth Rodeo Sponsorship Program

Mission of the Creston Men's Club: The Creston Men's Club is dedicated to supporting and strengthening our local community through initiatives that promote the well-being, development, and success of our community. We are committed to fostering opportunities for local youth, encouraging their growth in sports and personal development.

Program Objective: The objective of the 2026 Youth Rodeo Sponsorship Program is to provide financial assistance to young adults residing in Creston, CA, and the surrounding areas for the purpose of their personal development. Our goal is to remove financial barriers that may prevent local youth from pursuing their athletic, or other, ambitions. Special consideration will be given to rodeo athletes, given their strong presence and tradition in our community.

Eligibility:

• Applicants must be youth students residing in Creston, CA, or the surrounding area.

• Open to participants 18 years of age and younger

Funding Scope:

Sponsorship funds may be used for costs related to program participation, including but not limited to:

• Equipment purchases

• Travel expenses for competitions

• Entry or registration fees

• Coaching or training fees

Application Process:

• Interested applicants must complete the official sponsorship application form, available at CrestonMensClub.org.

• Applicants are encouraged to provide a detailed description of their background, goals, and how sponsorship support will assist them.

• Deadline for submissions is May 29, 2026.

• Only submissions made through the online submission form will be considered.

Selection Process:

• Applications will be reviewed by a committee of Creston Men's Club members.

• Selected athletes will be notified in early June

Sponsorship:

• Unlike in past years, athletes will not need to present to the board nor attend any service events

• The Men’s club will determine the scholarship amount and those athletes selected will be notifed in early June

• Scholarship recipients will be encouraged (not required) to support any future Men’s Club service events

Terms and Conditions:

• Sponsorship funds are to be used solely for the stated purpose in the application.

• Misuse of funds or misrepresentation in the application may result in forfeiture of the sponsorship.

• The Creston Men's Club reserves the right to request additional information to verify eligibility.

• The Men’s club has the final say in the selection of the recipients
